1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SnapReminder mobile application ("App"), operated by INED Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using SnapReminder, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SnapReminder is a document-scanning and AI-powered reminder application. The App extracts text, identifies deadlines, and helps you track important dates.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated results.

You are responsible for independently verifying deadlines and critical information.

3. AI Features and Third-Party Data Processing

3.1 Consent to AI Processing

By using the Voice Assistant or document scanning features, you acknowledge and consent to your data being processed by third-party AI services as described below and in our Privacy Policy.

3.2 Third-Party AI Provider

The App uses AI services provided by OpenAI, Inc. to power document analysis, speech-to-text transcription, and the conversational assistant. When you use these features, certain data (voice recordings, transcribed text, extracted document text, and limited contextual metadata) is transmitted to OpenAI's servers for real-time processing. No personally identifiable information, authentication tokens, or account credentials are sent.

3.3 No Model Training

OpenAI does not use data submitted via the API to train or improve its models. Your data is processed solely to deliver the requested service and is not retained by OpenAI beyond the processing session.

3.4 Your Control

You can opt out of AI processing at any time by choosing not to use the Voice Assistant or document scanning features. All other App functionality (manual reminder creation, history, notifications) operates without third-party AI services.

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all files, documents, images, and content you upload ("User Content").

4.2 Licence to Process

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your User Content solely to operate and improve the App, including OCR, AI analysis, reminder creation, and storage.

We do not sell, share, or use your User Content for training external AI models.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions

Some features of SnapReminder require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5.2 Billing Through Apple

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Your payment information is handled exclusively by Apple.

5.3 Cancellation

If you cancel, you will keep access to premium features until the end of the already-paid period. No partial refunds are provided by us.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds, if applicable, are handled only by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies. We do not issue refunds directly.

6. Limitations of Liability

6.1 No Responsibility for Missed Deadlines

AI analysis may not always be accurate. We are not liable for missed deadlines, actions taken, or failures resulting from reliance on outputs generated by the App.

6.2 General Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, INED Group Ltd is not liable for:

• Loss of data
• Missed events or tasks
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Reliance on AI or OCR results

6.3 Maximum Liability

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the total amount you paid for the subscription during the last 12 months.

7. Termination

7.1 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

7.2 By You

You may delete your account or uninstall the App at any time.

Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription — cancellation must be done through Apple App Store settings.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. By continuing to use the App after updates, you accept the revised Terms. The latest version will always be available within the App and on our website.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
